What is melanin magek travels?
Founded in 2021, Melanin MagEK Travels is a travel group company that aims to create lit, safe, and authentic trips to Ghana with Ghanaian natives. We have hosted two ah-mazing trips to Ghana with another one on the way at the end of the year! We strive to make those on our trips feel like family as we invite you into ours.
WHAT TYPES OF TRIPS WE PROVIDE
We are a family-oriented company and so a lot of what you will experience will be your home away from home!
We provide standard lodging at our family apartment complex in Weija. Weija is right by the water so there are opportunities to head to the beach. It is also about 30-40 minutes away from Accra but with the freeway in the area, you’ll enjoy missing the city traffic.
You’ll get many opportunities to eat the local Ghanaian dishes provided by our very own chef with opportunities to also eat at local restaurants.
We of course have to make sure we give back as we take in all this culture. We will get the chance to serve at a children’s ward at one of the local hospitals.
And lastly, we will party, party, and party! Being in Ghana is a celebration, especially during the Christmas season and so we will make sure to feast in all the enjoyment Detty December brings!
